Primarily composed of citric acid mono-hydrate, which is present in all plants, particularly lemons and limes, the water distiller cleaning crystals effectively remove stubborn water scale residue. Packaged in a long-lasting 16-ounce jar (453 grams), these crystals are designed to eliminate any persistent residue and scale remaining in the boiling tank.

To use, simply fill the 1-gallon stainless steel boiling chamber with water to the fill line and add 1 1/2 tablespoons of the Cleaning Crystals. For a 2-gallon Durastill or other brand boiler, use 3 tablespoons. Leave the top off and turn the unit on until the water just begins to boil. Then, turn the unit off and wait 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the amount of water scale. Discard the water and rinse the interior thoroughly. It's important to note that if the boiling chamber is made of plastic, the unit should not be turned on to heat.

These cleaning crystals are not suitable for food use and caution should be exercised, as they may cause skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritation. Keep them out of the reach of children.
